Survivorship Program
Because Healing Doesn’t End with Treatment
-
The “What Now” program offers wraparound support for people learning to live after cancer treatment, with services that reach every corner of survivorship:
• Emotional & Psychological Support – because fear, fatigue, and identity shifts don’t end with a discharge summary
• Education & Resources – empowering survivors with knowledge about late effects, long-term care, and recovery pathways
• Peer Connection – offering opportunities to connect with others who’ve “been there” and truly understand
• Practical Life Guidance – including help returning to work, navigating finances, and building day-to-day confidence
• Individualised Support – personal check-ins that respond to the unique needs of each survivor
• Wellbeing & Lifestyle Tools – focused on rebuilding strength, restoring hope, and redefining what “thriving” means
-
As someone still navigating life beyond rare cancer, I know that survival is only one chapter of the story. Real healing starts when the treatment ends—and that’s often the most overlooked part of the journey. This is why I lend my time, voice, and story to this program. Because no one should face the aftershock of cancer alone.
-
This program runs because of people like you—those who believe that quality of life after treatment matters just as much as the treatment itself.
You can help by:
• Donating to help sustain this essential program
• Joining a fundraising event like City2Surf or Flying High on Life
• Sharing this resource with your community
Survivorship is not the end. It’s the beginning of a new kind of living— and no one should have to figure it out alone.
First Name Last Name
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
